AI infrastructure built for financial-grade scrutiny
Structured extraction, cited retrieval over filings and policies, a regulated deployment ladder, and post-quantum transport for data whose confidentiality outlives today's cryptography.
Where Bee fits in a financial institution
Financial workloads are document- and structure-heavy: term sheets, filings, KYC packets, policy manuals, market commentary. Bee's platform matches that shape — retrieval with citations over your document base, JSON mode for schema-valid extraction, and tool calling to connect model output to your systems of record.
Fintech is an active first-class domain on Bee's platform. Regulated financial advice, by contrast, is a restricted (Tier-3) domain gated behind explicit acknowledgement — the platform is honest about the line between analytical tooling and regulated advice.
Capabilities that map to financial work
- →JSON mode on Comb, Buzz, and Hive: schema-valid extraction from unstructured filings and agreements.
- →Cited retrieval: answers grounded in your policy and document base, verifiable passage by passage.
- →1M-token long-context on Comb and Buzz: whole agreement sets or disclosure histories in one request.
- →Vision and video input on Comb, Buzz, and Hive: statements, scanned documents, and chart images in conversation.
- →Tool calling for controlled integration with pricing, risk, and reporting systems.
Deployment posture for regulated environments
Start on the shared cloud, then harden as requirements demand: Bee Regulated Cloud offers a multi-tenant regulated posture, Enclave Private Cloud (from $7,500/mo) runs single-tenant in your VPC, and Enclave Regulated (from $15,000/mo) adds customer-managed keys, strict crypto policy enforcement, and immutable audit logs.
Enclave plans are contracted with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance postures; the parent company holds CSA STAR Level 1 with ISO 27001 in progress.
Cryptography with a horizon
Financial data often must stay confidential for decades — exactly the profile harvest-now-decrypt-later attacks target. Bee integrates the NIST-finalized post-quantum standards (FIPS 203/204/205), with PQC transport default-on for Enclave Sovereign deployments and standard TLS 1.3 plus AES-256-GCM at rest elsewhere today.
Customer data is not used to train the Bee base model. Prompts, documents, and outputs stay yours; processing is limited to serving, securing, and operating the service.
Frequently asked questions
- Can Bee give financial advice to our customers?
- Regulated financial advice is a restricted (Tier-3) domain on Bee, gated behind explicit acknowledgement and jurisdiction checks. Bee is analytical infrastructure; the regulatory burden of advice remains with the deploying institution.
- How does Bee handle data residency for financial data?
- Hive-plan and above customers can request region-pinned processing (EU, US, or Singapore), and Enclave deployments run in your own VPC or air-gapped environment where residency is fully yours.
- Is model output auditable?
- Retrieval answers carry citations to source passages, model aliases resolve to dated immutable snapshots for reproducibility, and Enclave Regulated adds immutable audit logs.
- What extraction accuracy controls exist?
- JSON mode uses schema-guided decoding, so output conforms to your schema rather than approximating it — malformed JSON is rejected at generation time, not discovered downstream.
- Is customer data used for training?
- No. Customer data is not used to train the Bee base model, per the Terms of Service and DPA.
